What To Do When You're Not Closing

Good morning. If you’re struggling to book meetings, close deals, and sign contracts, you’re not alone. There are natural ebbs and flows to high ticket sales. Here is how I’m navigating them.👇️ 

The Lead Flow Draught

Currently, I’m going through a bit of a lead flow draught. This is common in even the best businesses, especially if you’re not currently spending a crap ton of money on ads. This is why I want to normalize this and discuss it.

If you’re the average business owner hanging out anywhere between 6-figures and 10m per year, we can consider it normal to go through a lead flow draught. The only piece of advice I’m equipt to give is simply this: do NOT change your offer. Just because you go through a week or two of low lead flow doesn’t mean your business is broken. Go with the ebb and flow. 🌊 

Struggling To Close

Most people who create content don’t see the long-term value of creating useful pieces. It’s a lot of work. However, what do you think will get shared more? Content that has a really useful benefit for the customer? Or content that is just entertaining?

It’s easy to think entertaining content wins. And in the short term, it does. It may get shares, likes, and clicks. But creating a proper piece of viral content comes from that piece of content being useful to your buyer. We want to be creating content for the customer, not necessarily the audience. This ensures they share it faster and engage with it more seriously.

Don’t Change The Offer

A dynamic sales letter is the ultimate form of content. Whether you sell B2C or B2B, pretty much in any industry, creating a baseline whitepaper is key. I call this a dynamic sales letter because it’s constantly updated based on the feedback of your customers.

Here’s where this helps though. You can derive all of your other content from this written dynamic sales letter. Once it’s done, you have an endless bank of ideas that can form your YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Newsletter, and Blog content. 📽️
