The power of advertising

Sometimes I wonder if biz owners understand the power of advertising or not.

Nobody is doubling down on what works.

Take a simple email newsletter for example.

81% of small businesses rely on email marketing for customer acquisition and loyalty.

But if I had to guess…

About 10% of those same businesses actually mail their list consistently.

Even fewer are mailing every day.

Now I’m not saying a daily newsletter is the right move for all biz owners…

But if your primary source of customer retention comes from email (which it does for most people)…

And you find yourself mailing once a week or less…

Don’t you think you’re missing out big time?

The answer is yes.

And this is just one facet of advertising.

If you get most of your customers via paid traffic on Instagram, test 10x more creatives.

If you get most of your traffic from organic TikTok, publish twice as much content.

If you are getting most of your customers from referrals, why aren’t you asking for even more referrals?

This is all advertising.

And you just need to double down on what is working best.

Don’t get lost trying to do everything right - focus on what is bringing in the dough.

Then throw some fuel on that same fire.
