Good morning. There is a huge uplift in “personal brand founders.” Have you noticed? I don’t have a big personal brand, nor do I necessarily want to, but here is how some top clients leverage this trend for more profit. 📱

I’ve noticed that top CEOs are not afraid to put themselves out there. This may be the new purpose of the founder. They are comfortable getting on camera to record their marketing videos, run ads with their face, and build a big audience on social media to promote their company.
The reason this is happening is because brands are boring compared to individuals. If you want to grow rapidly, especially in a competitive space, you probably will want a personal brand of some sort. I’m not saying there aren’t wildly successful companies without a personal brand CEO, but top businesses may eventually need CEOs to create elite content.
Personal Brand Founders
There are many personal-brand CEOs who used their audience to spin up a wildly successful company, then turn a profit immediately. The audience they have let them shave off about 3-5 years trying to figure out the acquisition. All they needed to do was create or adapt a solution their audience would love.
Examples include Alex Becker selling HYROS, Alex Heiden selling Closify in his 20s, Alex Hormozi launching Acquisition, Shaan Puri selling Milk Road, and Sam Ovens going all in on Skool. The point is, leveraging an audience can create an insane amount of wealth and speed up product-market fit. 📈
How To Build A Personal Brand
I’m still trying to figure this out on my own. However, I’ve been lucky enough to work with top creators and businesses who know better than I. There’s a right way to do it and a wrong way to do it that can damage your reputation.
That’s why I would start by building out a dynamic sales letter for your company first. This gives you direction on what you want to create content around and how you want to position your solution to the world.
From there, you can worry about all the smaller details, like which platform to focus on and where to hire your editors and producers. Think about it.
