What Happens Before The Call?

Good morning. A higher close rate on your sales calls comes down to positioning. You need to have great positioning before your sales call. Today, we’ll discuss positioning hacks for more sales. 📲 

Priming With Content

Content creates credibility. If you are down to create content on YouTube, make sure you direct the prospect to your channel before the call. The YouTube channel can be a bank of all your top objections and questions. This is a great place to build credibility and prime the prospect.

Other than YouTube, content on all the social platforms will help build credibility before the call. Your prospects will be looking you up, as we all do before buying something. The more content, the better. Other than that, you want to add the prospect to your email list right away. And you want to send them your best emails first in a flow.

Thank You Page Video

With one of our clients who made $5.2 million in 2 years, we always had a thank you page video after the call was booked. We ensured the prospect watched the video in full. 📺️ 

You can cover what to expect on the sales call, where the link will be, and what information they need beforehand. You can then explain your service or product a bit more and coax them closer to a sale.

SDR Outreach

Finally, you want to reach out to prospects manually before the call. If the call was booked in advance, you can have a couple of touchpoints. You can send them links to a few of your YouTube videos or a free guide of some sort.

The entire point here is to get them to confirm the call multiple times. If they respond and say, “Sounds good, thanks”… It’s probably a good sign they will show up to the call. Make sure you have your automated Calendly reminders on as well. This all creates a web, ensuring the prospect shows up ready to rock.

What happens before the sales call is far more important than what happens after. That’s why setting all of these systems up is key to a successful sales process.
