Good morning. What actually matters in a business? It’s easy to find a million tasks to complete without any cash falling into the checking account. As a founder, should you be raising money, building a better product, selling, designing a marketing plan, or networking? Here is what I’ve learned working with 25+ multi-millionaire founders.👇️ 

The 7-Figure Founders

Every single 7-figure founder I worked with cared about just two things. (1) collecting cash and (2) getting the customer results. I’ve been lucky enough to work with 41 clients, and over 25 of them were liquid multi-millionaires. They all share the same ruthless focus on closing the sales first, then worrying about the customer results second.

This means they never spend time worrying about the design of their ads, a spelling error in their privacy policy on the home page, or finding the perfect team member before they have the cash to hire them. Businesses are built on sales and happy customers. You have no happy customers if you can’t sell, so the best founders just sell their faces off. 🤷 

They Build A Machine

While an autonomous business is the dream for most founders, it’s the reality for 7-figure founders. They build the company as if it wasn’t reliant on them to run. Sometimes, they will plug in a CEO to run it so they can get out of the weeds. All of those 25+ multi-millionaire founders I’ve worked with operate like this.

That being said, creating an autonomous business does not mean you are complacent. The elite founders still work more than all their employees and contractors. It’s just easier for them to work ON the business instead of IN the business.

Cash Flow Is King

Since top founders are all focused on sales first, they don’t care about anything besides cash flow. Yes, they want their brand to appear well, but cash flow takes care of that problem naturally. Cash flow pays for your operations.

This is why the businesses that generate the most cash monopolize industries and dominate competition. Their founders are ruthless when it comes to creating actually cash flow and stacking profit. This is the one thing that sets the founders apart from everyone else.

We should all take note of these 7-figure founders and implement more selling into our day. Sell your product or service like crazy, and everything else will fall into place: the marketing, the lead gen, the fulfillment, the engineering, and more. You’ll learn what the customers want and how to deliver it.
