How I hire new people (use this)

Most of yesterday, I was working with a new client.
I’m bringing in a new team member to help with part of the fulfillment too.
She’s a content creator who specializes in their niche.
There have been a few hiccups so far.
Otherwise, it’s smooth sailing for a new retainer.
Even with the work not being exactly how we want it right out of the gate, it’s still better than what I could do alone.
It’s a good reminder that we can’t be pros at everything.
The ability to quickly hire, train, and get new people into your workflow is essential as a business owner.
I like to hire people with the intention that they are pros.
I’ll let them make mistakes for a while.
Observe them while they are getting their footing.
Then nudge them in the right direction slowly in that first week or two.
No insane pressure.
No fear-based management.
Even if they aren’t perfect, that freedom gives them confidence.
That confidence then translates into good work over time.
Hope you’re doing the same with your team.
