The truth about email marketing
If you have a decent-sized email list…
How often are you mailing that list?
I was just thinking about this yesterday while shooting some video content…
And I’m always baffled by some biz owners who rarely mail their email list.
I’ve had clients who come on to work with us…
With a list of 175,000 past buyers…
Insane!
However, they are emailing the list 5-10 times per month.
This is literally bleeding money.
I’ll prove it.
With every single client I’ve had…
We have tested mailing frequency in proportion to revenue…
And ever single time across multiple industries…
It comes out as a clear rule.
The more you mail, the more you make.
Funny how that works. 😆
Now, it’s important to understand that mailing your list more doesn’t mean you’re spamming them.
You need to be providing valuable content.
(Like I hope I’m doing daily here!)
When you get into a routine of a daily email, or an “almost” daily email…
Your biz will grow.
Your list will grow.
And your customers will love you if it’s done right.
Those who don’t want a daily email can unsubscribe…
Or downgrade to your weekly newsletter instead.
However, most of the legit buyers will stick around.
One last way to think about this:
Would you ever think it’s weird to post on social media daily?
No.
So why is it any different to publish written content to your email list?
Email is powerful.
I’ve made a client $5.2m in 2 years primarily with email marketing…
And just yesterday, an e-commerce client I wrote an email for just made $4,678 in sales from one send.
