Where To Create Content

These Platforms Matter Most

Good morning. Don’t know where to create content? Most business owners don’t. If you can’t pick between all the social channels for where to direct your attention, check out this breakdown to find what’s useful.

Holy Grail Content

In order to succeed in advertising on the platforms, you need what I call “holy grail content.” This is content that works pretty much everywhere because it is so useful to your customer. 💁

The easiest way to create “holy grail” content for your organic posts and for your paid advertising is by crafting a dynamic sales letter. This is a Google doc sales letter that compiles your thesis around your top product or service. Think of it as a whitepaper on steroids. You can pull from that document to create.

Choose With Context

People still think their buyers don’t have a Facebook account when in reality, even CEOs of multiple-billion-dollar companies do. Everyone is on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. They all need to check up on the family. 📱

Still, you need to figure out where your customer is most likely to make a purchase or fill out a lead form. Chances are, a multiple-billion-dollar CEO probably won’t make buying decisions over Instagram. They may tend to do so on LinkedIn or from an email newsletter. Choose which is best.

You should choose one platform to hammer on, then re-distribute to the others. This allows you to focus on what matters, without paying content editors thousands per month. Since I speak to business owners, my primary platform is LinkedIn and an email newsletter.

YouTube Is Its Own Thing

Here’s the caveat. YouTube is where people will go in the future to make buying decisions. Therefore, you can view YouTube as the primary hosting platform for your best content, video sales letters, and offers.

Become a YouTube creator no matter what. People buy supplements from YouTube, they buy $100k deals from YouTube, and they use it to compare and contrast products. Even better, the SEO on YouTube will help your content become viral.

In conclusion, you’ll want to first create a dynamic sales letter so you have a bank of potential content. Then, you’ll want to choose the platform to focus on that has your customers. And finally, you never want to forget about YouTube, despite the first platform you picked.
