Good morning. Should you be working with internet marketers? You need to be very careful. In fact, I’ve had more bad experiences than good experiences. Here’s what you need to know before shelling out the big bucks. 💻️ 

Internet Marketing Weirdos

I recently paid a guy 10k upfront to learn about advertising. He had an incredibly great track record. Like, insanely good. Paid ads wizard. Copywriting wizard. Technology savant. Software guru. Basically wore all the hats.

But after a couple of months of working with him, he seems to have lost his mind. Doing lots of weird stuff on the internet, deleting his socials and website, and just making me uncomfortable. I don’t like doing business with people like that. I want consistency and reliability.

Find A Steady Advisor

While a lot of these internet marketing guys are geniuses, they aren’t really steady advisors to your business. Of course, you can buy courses from them and training from them in order to learn advertising and growth hacks. Nothing wrong with that. 📈 

However, I think it’s very important to have a few steady advisors outside your business that you can trust. These could be agencies, consultants, or coaches. Either way, you want someone who has a lot of reference experience, charges a reasonable amount for the value they provide, and has your best interest in mind.

The Growth Consultant Role

I believe the next wave of high-level advisors is going to be the growth consultant. Basically, it’s a consultant that works alongside the CEO/founder to guide the team and install key growth systems.

The best companies have one of these people internally or externally. They keep a hawk eye on cash flow and ensure profitable growth in every corner of the business. This is actually what I’m beginning to do right here.

Hope this helps today. All in all, stay away from volatile internet marketers and coaches who promise you the world. Find a reliable growth consultant or advisor inside and outside your business.
