Booking 27 calls in 5 days
The flywheel of sales

I just booked 27 calls for my business in 5 days.
This is the most volume I’ve ever hit, which is pretty exciting. Even better, about 95% of them have been extremely qualified.
They are open to having a conversation. No high pressure sales, just a casual discovery process that’s been going very well.
If you want to do the same thing, and pack your calendar with opportunities every single week, here’s what I’ve learned.
I booked more calls once I stopped selling my service and product in the actual outreach email or message. Instead, I asked them to learn more about their business. That’s it, nothing fancy.
I created a flywheel of people who may work with me now, but also some who may come back to me in 9 months. It seems to be going better when I don’t push a sale, but rather work through the considerations and objections with them. At their pace.
There are more than enough people out there who want to buy your stuff. You just need to be willing to adapt your product or service to their needs. This is a common mistake of founders who get stuck in their ways. If someone wants to give you money, think about dynamic ways to adapt your solution to their needs.
Don’t assume you already maxed out your TAM. That’s B.S. There are new people entering the TAM every day, as well as leadership in companies turning over every single week. The more people you can hit on a daily basis, the better chances you have of booking calls.
These are pretty valuable lessons. Especially when you’ve been caught up in a “sell direct” mentality for so long. Unfortunately, that hard-selling rarely works with smart, savvy executives.
Book the calls to learn about your prospect and improve your solution instead of booking the call in order to sell. If you do this, you’ll probably sell way more as a byproduct of your genuine interest.
